From Tre Morgan’s flip to home, to Tommy White’s shot to left.

Don’t listen to Florida fans - that was the championship game.

Our side of the bracket was way harder than the one Florida went through.

My son and I watched that game again on YouTube the other day. It is one of the greatest games I’ve ever watched. High level execution and pro talent all over the field.

I sat behind Wake's dugout for the Ty Floyd game when the umpire suddenly decided the strike zone would change mid way through.

The Wake Forest fans were worse than any fans I've ever dealt with in person. Absolute garbage humans.

He did that just so we could see this dork again for 10 pitches

That WF team wins the CWS most years. They'd probably win it this year

I’m sure many felt the same way but when that Skenes K got away from Milazzo to put guys on the corners with only 1 out was one of the most uncomfortable feelings I ever felt as a fan.
You just knew Wake was gonna scratch a run out of that situation.
But Tre’ said NOT SO FAST!

LSU Wake was a great game, but the 1996 game against Miami was awesome. Back and forth the whole way

100% agree. Every play, every pitch factored into a win or loss. People bitching about it being boring didn’t ever play at a medium or high level.

That game was money!

The wife and I were in Omaha for the series. She decided not to go to the game so I splurged and bought one ticket 5 rows up just a little toward the first base dugout from home plate.

I was half way between where Tre touched the ball and the catcher so about 40' from the play. I will remember that play until I die.

I made a very rare facebook post afterward that said "the greatest college baseball performance I have ever watched" and I stand by that statement.

I still think LSU/Miami 96 was a better overall game.

Morris homer aside, that game was going back and forth all day.

Somehow it always plays out that way. Even in 2017 we had the much tougher side of the bracket then Florida did.
