The newest one just opened in Mississippi off I-10 at Pass Christian.

They"re everywhere in the South, but none in the Stone Age State.

Denham Springs across from Bass Pro seems like a good location for one.

What's the reason they're not in Louisiana? (Good Ole Boy and corrupt politics or what?)

They figured out North Louisiana is the best part and they’re putting one there.

They're opening one right outside of Lafayette next year, and another is currently under construction near Ruston.

They had one planned in Baton Rouge on I-12 at Millerville, but the property flooded significantly during the 2016 flood, causing Buccees to reconsider the project and ultimately scrap it. Allegedly, there was some interference from then Governor Edwards as well as multiple local politicians who were soliciting bribes from Buccees in exchange for allowing the project to go through. Buccees was used to governments rolling out the red carpet for them, and trying to entice them to open new locations, not shake them down for permission. So, Buccees focused their attentions elsewhere.

It is no coincidence that Buccees announced their Lafayette area store right on the heels of Landry's inauguration. If there is one remotely positive thing that Louisianaians are getting out of Landry's time in the Governor's Mansion, it's a Buccees.

Same. The one time I've been it was so crowded it wasn't worth the trouble. Last time I passed by the one on the way to the beach my wife asked me to stop and I said hell no. Place was a total zoo.

They are building one in Ruston. I’m pretty sure they’ve broken ground.

This is the real reason they skipped over Louisiana until the admin changed .

Was a really stupid spot for one anyways. No way that tight area could handle that increased traffic. 10 minutes from my parents house though so I would have been there every time we visit.

It’s nauseating inside. Reminds me of the Mickey store in Mouse World.
