CWS teams should be re-seeded

Once the field is set. The top 2 teams facing each other in rd 1 makes no sense. If you win you're definitely in a great position but damn that's a tough draw for both teams.

It’s a tournament. It’s a different location with a different name but there isn’t a need to re-seed just because it helps my team this year.

Because they're a damned good team and are going to be dialed in for LSU after us taking the series just 4 weeks ago. It's be overwhelmingly better to bot have to face them twice with us coming out of the losers bracket.

Some years it might make sense and others it doesn't. Should they reseed in basketball too when it gets to the elite 8 or just baseball? What about football, reseed in the semis?
The bracket is the bracket IMO. After Arkansas / LSU you're looking at the 15th seed and either Duke or Murray State so it's not like there is no reward on this side of the bracket.
You have to beat really good teams to win a natty.

LSU has the arms to pitch out of the losers bracket. The question is, will they have the bats.

The Elite 8 isn't played at a common venue. There's no logistical reason not to re-seed the CWS.

I’d rather face Arkansas with our aces available instead of possibly facing them in finals without 1 or more. Remember we didn’t have Skenes available in ‘23 finals. We won regardless..but still.
