Looks to me like the rider in the rear bike clipped the back tire of the bike in front of him/her and lost control.

Those sport bikes don't have full fenders covering most of the tires, so the back tire on the front bike is rotating with the tread running up and the front tire of the bike in back has the tread running down. If they meet, bad things happen.

Some of these cyclist drive like they are in a video game. I had one split between me and an 18 wheeler that was passing me. The motorcycle had to be doing 85-90. All it would have taken would have been for one of us to have been a couple of feet in the wrong direction and he would have died instantly.

That happened in Tampa on I4 about 3 years ago. I go by that spot on my commute home 5 days a week. 30 feet drop to the road below.
