It was the first time I had voted for a Republican in a Presidential election in almost 25 years.
But….KILL THE BILL!

Why don't you start with a bill that doesn't increase the deficit.

Just 1 missing that I wanted. No tax on Social Security.

Like the last administration did?

Sooooo, if there is no tax on overtime(which is awesome), won't your annual total on w2 time will show much less federal/state taxes pulled from gross amount therefore making us owe more money or lose more on your return or will there be an exemption for overtime? Can someone explain how it will work?

We're 36 trillion fricking dollars in debt, that's $323,000 per taxpayer.

This cannot be in this bill because of the Byrd Rule - I am pretty sure you already knew about the Byrd Bill though so it's probably not new to you
This will be a separate bill after the BBB

Deficits have been running $2 trillion a year.
You ACTUALLY believe this increases that?

We're already fricking taxed to death as it is. I'm good with no tax on tips.

Servers and bartenders didn't accumulate that debt. This is a step in the direction of treating the virus itself. Government created the debt, it's time to decrease the debt by government, not the middle class.

These aren’t wins. It’s terrible policy and naked pandering.

Nope. No carveouts. Tax all income equally, or don’t tax it at all.
Standard deductions are fine—they apply to everyone. But pandering is garbage policy

We shouldnt have an inferred tip system either. It’s one thing if someone wants to give money to someone but we are one of the few countries who do this. They also shouldn’t be demanding $15 hr at fast food. Grown arse adults shouldn’t be working entry level jobs their whole lives.

Do tell who's gonna pay that 320,000 per taxpayer.
Do tell?
Do tell?

If you feel you aren’t taxed enough, you are welcome to pay more

The frick does that have to do with anything? I would HOPE they wouldn't want to do one dang thing like the last administration did. But that's just me.
