Tigers win tomorrow but this team isnt getting out of a Super. Situational hitting has been bad ALL YEAR!

Super regionals format sets up fine for us. We’ll be favored by a decent margin with Anderson and Eyanson going in a best of 3 at home

More confident lsu wins a super than win tomorrow. Supers you only have to win two games, and they have pitching for that.

Agreed but if we can’t even touch Little Rocks bullpen not sure we’ll put up enough to beat West Virginia

What makes you people think we are going to win tomorrow?? You can expect to see more of the same piss poor offense against a team with hope and a bunch of rag arm pitchers ready to shove it down LSU’s throat again tomorrow!

This team’s lineup is embarrassingly bad.

They might be fine in a SR if they win the first two games. If they have to win a third game, they’ll be outscored by WV.

I think we win because we have the pitching advantage big time tomorrow we've got two of our best bullpen arms and ware.

that's enough to keep them under 4 runs which should be enough. they can have anything remotely decent left.

think of this like a midweek game. when we lost midweek games it was a fluke and we never lost two in a row

The pitchers they faced last night were not good but yet they still held us to under 5 runs. What gives you the confidence that Evans and Ware will be lights out against their hot bats? They aren’t Kade or Eyanson

Probably the fact that Evans and Cowan did it all season vs SEC lineups. Not including Ware because he can’t get anyone out right now. What gives you such confidence that they won’t?

Actually I think if they get to a super they have a better chance of advancing. we pitch Anderson and Eyanson the best 1-2 pitchers in a best of 3. Now if we have to play a 3rd game and rely on the others we are in trouble

Jay will have the batters take a lot of pitches so that they run the pitch count up. He will try to get walks, sacrifice bunt and try to score on sacrifice flies. LSU pitchers will have have big time strikeouts and great defensive plays. I think Jay tries to have a low scoring ballgame. I can see the ump punishing LSU by ringing up Tiger batters.

Yep. Were this a SR format, LSU would already be through to the next round by winning the first two games...by a combined 19-0.

Now, the inconsistent hitting and bullpen doesn't necessarily instill confidence should LSU reach the CWS, but to take last night's result to support an argument LSU couldn't get out of a SR is illogical. Most would argue LSU is BETTER suited to get out of a SR than a regional because they would only have to win the two games with their two top pitchers to win a SR.

Neither has pitched very well recently.
