General Mike Flynn gives his take on the Ukraine Drone Attack

Very Good Breakdown by General Flynn. Great Points about Graham and Da Nang Dick
"So, it appears Zelenskyy gave the go ahead to attack parked Russian nuclear capable bombers without informing
@realDonaldTrump
(if true that our President was not consulted nor informed, this isn’t simply a breach of protocol. It’s a geopolitical insult and a warning sign. If Ukraine is willing to conduct strikes with strategic consequences without notifying the White House, we are no longer allies with coordination issues—we are co-belligerents flying blind).
Also given Senator “warmonger” Lindsey Graham’s and Senator “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal’s recent visit, this attack could appear as though it was sanctioned. I pray the Russians have better intelligence than that. IMHO, these two don’t have the sense or common sense to pull something like this off (there will have to be denials though).
FYI, Those bombers that were hit HAVE to be out in full view due to nuclear treaty obligations. Zelenskyy took advantage of that. For instance, they appear to have hidden the drones in containers and were driven on trucks near the airbase. Smart use of deception (see photos below).
However, imagine any one of our big bomber bases having the exact same thing done to them. Very costly U.S. Strategic Bombers can be taken out in the same way by anyone with access to inexpensive drones, delivery trucks, explosives, and a bit of technical knowledge (not good and new tactics will now have to be developed).
People, and especially world leaders, need to realize the global implications to such an operation as Ukraine just pulled off.
Russia will respond. Action, reaction, counteraction. Those are the shifting tides of warfare.
This wasn’t a bold action, it was brash. Ukraine’s short-term win could be the world’s long-term loss.
Despite what is a complete mess right now in Europe, there are still solutions to achieving peace. They are narrowing however and time, as it often does, becomes an enemy instead of a useful friend."

This and the next paragraph is the worst part of this that if someone did that to us we would absolutely destroy them. Zelensky deserves what is coming.

The real story is that the Russians have the intel to prevent this, but the intel agency decided to let it happen.

Russia withdrew from the START treaty in Feb 2023. Flynn very well knows this. He's just being disingenuous and knows most in his audience won't make the effort to fact check him. Russia no longer had to park their bombers in the open, they were being typically lazy and stupid.
At any rate, the planes were actively being used against Ukraine. They were legitimate targets, treaty status notwithstanding.

Senator “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal’s recent visit,
It's unconscionable he's a US Senator AND is allowed to visit in any official capacity .
*Why are the planes shown above not the one(s) shown burning? Were those also hit? The one in the photo is a different color and looks to be a prop powered plane.

A question I’d like to know is how they attacked Murmansk, Irkutsk, and Amur as those are nowhere near Ukraine.

Hidden in shipping containers trucked all over Russia. Parked near the airfield then the drones were released. If I had to guess, the drivers were not the drone operators and may not have known what they were carrying. They dropped the cargo and the sleeper cells took it from there.
Also guessing Russian organized crime may have been involved in the transportation phase, which would explain the ease of getting the cargo past border security.
The first two sentences are based on Ukrainian official reports. The rest is my conjecture.

These bombers, particularly the Tu-95 and Tu-22M3, are covered under New START as deployed delivery vehicles, counting toward the treaty’s limit of 700. Despite Russia’s suspension of New START inspections in February 2023, both sides have committed to adhering to the treaty’s numerical limits, including those for bombers.

Reading that sounds like we are about to get WW3 kicked off.

Hopefully just a rocket into Zelensky’s house.

The START treaty isn’t the active treaty. The NEW START treaty and Russia said they withdrew because of US violations but are still legally bound and have been observing the restrictions.

I think Zelensky been told NATO is going to be all in by the end of summer. There is a reason he won't give up Crimea etc. He knows what's coming.

This is not a smart take. Did Israeli intelligence know of the 10/7 attack and let it happen?

Because those are American b52’s in the first picture….

Oh, Jim Rockford. Downvote, downvote, downvote. And downvote some more. Don't ever say anything bad about Putin and his country.

Perfect description. There's no nuclear power in the world that will tolerate such an attack on their nuclear capability without drastic response. Nobody has been this stupid since 1945. Zelensky (or whoever pulls his strings) is attempting to turn this into a worldwide conflict. NATO countries and US politicians in particular are insane to back this man.

Because the jet bombers are US B-52s.
It was his example of US planes left uncovered.

quote:Really for Momentoftruth87.... I would suspect Irkutsk and Amur have some locals sympathetic to Ukraine as those are areas to which Cossacks (and other Ukrainians) were exiled to in both Tsarist era and Soviet era. Those were some of the areas the White Army emerged from, and then retreated to, fighting the Red Army.

I imagine whomever at the MVD/FSB let these through or otherwise screwed the pooch on these containers and their operational cells will be accused of doing so intentionally and be executed. And, that will be used as pretext to crackdown on locals.
There's a ghost of a pattern that seems to be emerging here which needs verifying... Ukraine seems to have regular contact and use of Uzbek & Tajik terrorists.

I don’t think either the US or Russia have to allow for clear view of their bomber fleet. Whomever is in charge of the intel and security better enjoy polonium.
As much as I despise Z, the attack and plan was well executed.
