“The reason we watching women’s basketball is not just because of one person. It’s because of me too. I want y’all to realize that. It’s not just cause of one person.”
Oh WNBA, you must absolutely be hating these couple of weeks right now and the reality that is becoming obvious to more and more of you.
And this is certainly not good for angel reese over inflated sense of worth. Oof. How sad is it that you have to publicly say something like that lol.

“We are Caitlin fans before Fever fans. She’s the biggest draw - that’s who the girls want to see. That was the whole point of going to Indy: seeing Caitlin Clark. When she was injured, we thought, 'Let’s just postpone until August.'”
quote:
WNBA itself begin to grapple with the reality that the biggest draw in the history of women’s basketball, and one of the greatest attractions in all of sports, men’s and women’s, will not be around for awhile.
quote:
The superlatives never seem to stop for Clark, but one stunning statistic stands out above the rest. In Clark’s record-breaking rookie season last year, the Fever’s average home attendance was by far the highest in the league: 17,036. It also was better than the average home attendance of five NBA teams in the 2023-24 season:
quote:
All of this illustrates the significance of the news about Clark. This is not just another player getting injured; this is the WNBA’s top financial driver
quote:
You would think the league might acknowledge the moment. But so far, no. Asked three times for a comment on Clark’s injury and what it meant to the league, a WNBA spokesman never replied.

Turns out that people like people who look like them, and that’s ok.

I wouldn't know it existed if I never knew about tigerdroppings

Men are a “large and growing part of the WNBA’s TV audience,” making up 60% of ESPN networks’ WNBA viewers
Kind of strange that white men are carrying viewership for this league.
I think it shows women just don't watch sports in Mass on TV

Lol unless they don't look like you and then you hate them for it

I wonder how many LeBron hating figs who make fun of me for rooting for the team he plays for are also Caitlin fans.
Most hypocritical retards we have outside of Biden/Kamala voters.

Oh I’d love to hear this. Please show us how I’m race baiting by posting a USA Today article that has nothing to do with race, and posted quotes from a wnba player starving for attention.

The WNBA is a victim of their own stupidity. They have a generational marketing gold mine and are too stupid consumed by their own virtue signaling to see it.

This was all CONTRIVED BS, I am pretty sure this beef started in college and a light bulb went off in the front office of the WNBA, this is a chance for us to salvage this failing league, its our Bird vs. Johnson PLUS World Wrestling Assoc./Hulk Hogan chance to get eyes on the league.
No doubt them and ESPN are playing this up, and the lady's were told to push this rivalry to the max, any recognition means eyes on them and thus MORE MONEY in ad revenue for those ladies.
I can see it now, Clark doing a tongue in cheek ad for pepper spray,

The Indiana Pacers made the NBA Finals, so they'll still be able to shoehorn Caitlin Clark in there somewhere.
Headline this morning read something like:
"Pacers Beat Knicks to Make Finals with Caitlin Clark Watching"

I’m honestly stunned at just how ugly Angel Reese is every time I see an image of her. Causes a visceral reaction every time

There were plenty of great white players in the league before Clark
Why is with only Clark and reese is there race talk?
