If Fantastic Four flops, do we see Doomsday getting pushed back?

Hell, I am wondering if the MCU gets scrapped if they can't make money off FF
The MCU isn't a charity.
No way Disney just keeps throwing money away
I do really want Secret Wars. . .probably not watching any of them in the theater until that one.

Its already been pushed back. Rumors are that Chris Pratt will be the lead of Secret Wars and Pedro Pascal's role might be cut down in Doomsday so it sounds like Marvel thinks it might flop. They are supposed to do a hard reset after Secret Wars with Disney bringing in their own X-Men actors.

They have to rethink and rewrite the whole deal. That Marvel writer a month or two ago spilled the story at a con and it wasn’t good. F4 will probably bomb and if the MCU is going to survive as a big draw they’ll have to redo the entire storyline post F4

And you're hearing this from?
Also Doomsday got pushed back to avoid crunch work in post. They just started filming so there was zero shot they were going to be totally done in less than a year especially given how big this movie is supposed to be.

The analogy to me would be like launching a new X-men series by starting with another Dark Phoenix story.
There are iconic comic book stories that just haven't worked out on the big screen.

The thing about F4 is if you’re going to make it work you have to include the zaniness of the comics in the Movie. Thats not what they’re doing here so that ready made F4 fanbase isn’t going to watch this in theatres. This has been Disneys biggest problem, their stuff doesn’t appeal to the largest portion of their fanbases.

I admit that I was never really much of a FF fan so take it FWIW but the whole character concept thing just didn't grip me.
Essentially the cosmic rays created the characters from a circus freak show. The Marvel series leading up to the Avengers and eventually the unsnappening had the advantage of more compelling characters.
Doom is more interesting but doesn't appear to be included and was a bit of a disaster in the last FF.

That’s been another huge problem for the MCU. Burning through characters and timelines too fast just so they can push more recent, unpopular characters.

As long as the movie is good, it'll do fine at the box office. F4 isn't Thunderbolts, they're a popular franchise. The previous Fox films were just terrible.

Being a "Boomer", the FF was my main comic book. I really want this movie to do well. I'm not fond of Pedro as Reed. The should have never cast John Krasinski as Reed in Dr. Strange 2.
That said, it's pretty obvious in the Universe with the female Silver Surfer, Galactus wins and destroys their Earth based on the end credits of Thunderbolts where the FF Spaceship is detected coming through some type of portal.

I don't think Marvel pulls the plug if F4 fails but I do think it will put them in a very bad position. Their post Endgame record has been spotty at best and they overextended their own universe with adding in so many shows as well as introducing too many new characters with almost zero updates on our existing ones. While I don't think their movies aside from Thor have been terrible most have been forgettable minus NWH, GotG 3, D&W, and the Thunderbolts, same goes for the Disney+ shows.
They need F4 to be a big hit and to pull old fans back in because we got two big Avengers movies coming up with a pretty significant storyline. There's been some rumours that Secret Wars is actually going to be out into two parts part one being Battleworld and part two being SW. I hope that's true because a character like Doom being the main villain of three Avengers movies works so much better
