Two of my buddies got into a fight in our high school gym one day. Before we could break them up, one got the other, and was pounding him on top of his head like Nolan does here. The guy who took the pounding had five or six knots on his head for a couple of weeks.

Ryan threw 100 mph fastballs for fun in the bigs, so you know that arm carried a lot of velocity and I bet Ventura questioned heading out there to confront him like he did-------------especially after the immediate headlock and beatdown that followed.
