Is the series finale of Handmaids Tale the worst in television history?

I would say so…incredibly boring emotional drivel.
Series should have ended with episode 9.
Show plane exploding and then a card detailing the downfall of Gilead.

This was beyond disappointing.

I’m usually able to separate the art from the artist, but Elizabeth Moss championing this show while being a devout member of the cult of Scientology is too much hypocrisy. They coverup things far worse than anything in that show.

Scientologists will gouge out women's eyes and throw them off buildings?

I've always thought that for 90% of the biddies bitching about the Handmaid's Tale, it is actually their secret sub or rape fantasy.

If anyone ever sees Shelly Miscavige again they should ask her.

Next Halloween, ask the first chick you see in a Handjob's tale outfit why she's dressed like little red riding hood... then sit back and enjoy the Zoloft fueled meltdown.

You'll thank me for it.

Never gave the series a second thought as the source material grew from hyper over reaction to Reagan’s America.

You can’t force your agenda into a story without making it utter trash.

Unless maybe you’re super talented.

It’s sorta like The Golden Compass. Author set out to make a counter to Tolkien’s work that wasn’t founded in or influenced by religion. His entire motivation was misplaced. And it showed.

I can’t watch that show. It makes me irrationally angry it’s so absurd.

It's your fault for watching it in the first place.

Im on season 3 and once you get over it being a feminist fever dream I found it to be actually be a fairly well produced, well acted and compelling story of a twisted nightmare version of America.

Yes! But as we will agree it’s a dystopian nightmare version of Americas that no one wants, the author of the book genuinely believed this was the natural conclusion of Reagan‘s America back in the mid 80s.

And even today 40 years later, we have lunatics dressing up in handmaid‘s tale outfits. Every time anything remotely associated with abortion is discussed. Too bad they’re not dressing up and protesting men who are pretending to be girls in female sports, but I guess that’s a different topic.

Why the hell don’t we see American Nazis to the same degree ala Man in the High Castle cosplay?
Because as superior as that story is, everyone understands it’s ridiculous and nobody wants that. But for some damn reason, the feminist keep promoting the very thing they fear.

I've always referred to it as "feminist fear porn". It gives them a false reality to self-righteously rage against without their having to risk anything like they would if they were to rage against legitimate attacks on women in actual reality (like trannies in womens' sports or radical Islam).

Yep.

The mind of a woman.
