Bizarre Church Story

So I recently started going to church to support my wife. When they passed the golden tray around for donations, I thought it would be funny to put Monopoly money into it. My wife hasn’t spoken to me since.
What do I do? I could always give real money next time, like twice the amount I was expected to give Sunday? Would that make up for it?

We traveled a lot. Left over foreign money goes in the church basket to test the process of ,,,,,,is it worth anything,,,,,,where can it be converted to us.

If a Catholic church, confession and quadruple the $$$. Regardless of denomination, volunteer there as well.
