At Churchill downs today. To those who don't know, that's horses who broke down, or were injured during or after a race. Ain't looking good

Were the conditions abnormal or something? They should walk the track in the morning before they race or something

One is in the charts, but the rest were after galloping out, that wont be listed.

Look I hate how they’ve bred these animals to be so fragile so they can run a couple of seconds faster. I can’t change that so I cope with dark humor.

Does that mean they killed 7 horses after the race? I’m not fancy so I don’t speak horse culture.
If so there needs to be a full investigation of CD and the industry as a whole.

Animal racing/fighting culture as a whole is gross and trashy no matter what color suit you dress it up in.

Ok so let me set the record straight. 1 horse was injured during a race, and the other 6 were vanned off galloping out after crossing the finish line. That means the horses were "off" or the vets recommended the horse ambulance take them to the barn and get evaluated.

They outlawed dog racing because of cruelty. But because there's big money in horse racing, it is left alone.

And that doesn't even take into consideration rodeos, which is the cruelest of all (besides maybe bullfighting).

Clown world.

the preferred nomenclature for getting vanned is v@ for starters.

Also, HBO did a horse racing show with Dustin Hoffman and they had to cancel it because they kept sending horses to the glue factory that were getting hurt racing for the fricking show.

Horse racing as a concept is pretty cool. The level we have reached with optimization -> cruelty is extremely sad so I do not watch/support it whatsoever.

Ahh rodeo, PBR in particular treats the animals very well. I am sure local yocal small rodeos treat them as rough stock.

So does that mean they killed them? I’m still confused about this trashy faux ‘wealthy’ lingo.
Run a dog, run a horse, fight a chicken, fight a dog.
It’s all trashy and absolutely disgusting .
