If 20,000 Afghans helped us in the war, they should have been brought over. They are not safe after Biden’s abysmal withdrawal. We fricked that whole situation. I want virtually no refugees here, but we do owe the ones who risked their lives for us while we were there.

This guy came over in 2014, before we pulled out and left many Afghans who had helped us behind. I don’t doubt that he was probably pretty disillusioned but he’d been here over 10 years, if on an Afghan SIV was given cash assistance, job training, job placement assistance… Yes it sucks that your country is a mess but that doesn’t mean you get to drive with no license, no registration and shoot at our cops.

Very poor police work in this case. A guy with a gun very upset they let him take the fight to them. Should have pulled back or made a stronger move at the car once it was determined he had a firearm.
