Cook completely blew it with that ridiculously over priced headset. He proved he’s out of touch. Apple needs new blood. Hey Tim, how much for the glass? 10k?

They really haven’t done anything but coast on the momentum Jobs built for the past decade.

I dont understand how companies are still trying with glasses, and even VR headsets.

Apple hasn’t been innovative in a good while.

Until legislation makes all brand phones to be able to send ‘iMessages’ they will print money in the U.S.

The law regarding privacy and government overreach is always going to be reactive to technology and two to seventeen steps behind.

With no expectation of privacy in public, are these glasses going to catch me picking my dick, eating my boogers, using facial recognition to identify me, AI to do whatever it does, link it to my home address, and with a licensing agreement between Meta and the government to share data collected on public streets?

So like literally everything we do beyond our doorstep is logged in the data centers? And everything inside the doorstep is logged by Alexa and Apple Health, etc.?

Ted Kaczynski had the right ideas but the wrong execution.

Cook milked his supply chain and operations expertise along with a ton of stock buybacks to stretch out the momentum that Jobs built. That is running out.

Cook has no vision, seems overly enamored with hollywood and throws money at them to attend awards shows, and can’t get his gayness out of his own way to stop focusing on diversity hires and pushing wokeness across every one of its platforms as features. He pushes out some new alphabet wallpaper and emojis as features while ignoring his software is sucking with announced actual features pushed off for months and delayed and buggy after that. Hardware specs of new product have to fit within his supply chain and controlled growth plan instead pushing innovation. He can’t develop any tech product lines beyond what Apple was already doing or about to do when Jobs died.

I feel like the industry as a whole hasn’t come out with anything as big as the Iphone or even the ipad in a while.

Apple silicon is great but you're right that they haven't innovated any great transformative products or features in quite some time

Believe it or not Apple isn’t the biggest phone manufacturer any more it’s some Chinese knock off. They created the creature that will consume them and the creature that may kill us all-China

I’m thinking the newer cars with video rearview “mirrors” are collecting doing all of this too. Tesla, all the cars with cameras for 360 view is going all of this.

Sux we are losing our privacy as no one is doing anything v

New partnership between OpenAI and io (startup founded by iPhone and iPod designer) could change that. OpenAI getting into hardware.
