This year's team is lacking a back like this

We haven't had a bruising back since #7

Doesn’t necessarily mean players can’t wear #4 anymore. Similar to #37 & #21

It’s a Different now. I actually thought Guice was pretty bruising and Tyrion Davis-Price had his moments.

Guice was definitely not a "bruising" back. The only thing he gave bruises to was old women.

Wow. Congrats Alexander the Great.
I watched him play in TS with the tear away jersey. Great memories

I was friends with him at LSU, our gfs were in law school together and I played baseball, he was huge back then, you young’ns can’t grasp how good he was, just coming into the age where SEC freshmen could play varsity, he was an incredible talent trying to unseat another incredible talent, Terry Robiskie, Cholly Mac had to put him in, those tear aways were hilarious, you pat a guy on the back after a good play and you have to get a new shirt

He was a fairly physical back. He didn’t avoid contact.

Letting Emery go was a mistake - he’s literally a grown man amongst boys now and would have been the best “thunder” to Durham’s “lightning.”

Jackson runs into the nearest defender and doesn’t break the tackle, Holly’s legal situation is still pending, and Berry while obviously uber talented hasn’t played a snap of college football.

Alexander4Heisman. Lucky enough to watch him live my first year at LSU.

Guy was ahead of his time, 6’1”, 215 lbs., sub 4.4 forty.

Congratulations Charlie, well-deserved.

He was at LSU for what 6 years?

He was never the feature back. His career high in yardage was 103 against Vandy back in 2020!
And you want him to have 7th season?

If he was that good, someone other than UTSA would have signed him.

I hope it works out for him, but he’s so old he might miss a few games with arthritis!
