2025 US Armed Forces vs. Peak WW2 US Armed Forces

Each side has its contemporary manufacturing complex available. Nuclear weapons are not available.
For the discussion, the 2 sides are battling for control of the Pacific. 2025 forces start on the west side and push east, WW2 starts on the east and pushes west. Say there is a ‘USA’ on each side of the ocean. WW2 starts with Hawaii.
How would this play out?

2025 US has 2025 weaponry minus nukes? Peak WW2 has WW2 weaponry minus nukes? 2025 US all day long.

Seems like this wouldn’t be a particularly long or even fight with modern technology.

It wouldn't even be close, 2025 US Navy/Air Force would dominate 1945 Navy / Air Force
ETA: This assumes the supporting technology like GPS, Sats etc... were available to the 2025 Navy / Air Force.

Dude one modern submarine could take out an entire ww2 fleet. Surely you must be trolling

2025 would mop the floor with a military from 80 years ago. Am I missing something here?

WW2 forces would be finished before they even caught a glimpse if 2025 forces.

Look, if you are going to be this stupid at hypotheticals then you might as well throw in peak military civil war and peak colonial militaries with muskets and horses and make it a free for all.

It's pretty early to shoot crack, man

The only limiting factor for the speed at which the modern armed forces won would be the availability of the naval ships required to move the land forces around the huge spaces involved with the pacific.
The modern army with surveillance satellites, long range guided munitions and advanced aircraft would annihilate the 1945 version wherever they went.

Okay how about this: 2025 US forces vs. the 1990 US forces from the first Gulf War ( some say the most powerful force ever fielded)

A squadron of F-22 raptors would take all WA2 planes out and all naval ships.
Squadron or A-10 warthogs for ground support.
Ranger battalion, seals, marine recon, delta force would walk through infantry units.
It would be comical.

This is 1000 gorillas vs 100 humans. The modern military would destroy the WWII military with amazing quickness.

Guess you're too young to remember the movie The Final Countdown. Those tomcats laugh at the zeros trying to shoot them down

Have you seen The Final Countdown?
Think of that, but not just a single ship.

This is comparable to WWII forces vs Civil War forces. Both about 80 years apart.

again are you retarded?
literally a squad of F22 and a squad of f35 would destroy every single thing from the 1990 force.
that was 35 years ago...do you really believe tech hasnt evolved at all?
i mean you do understand that 1 f22 shot down 25 F15eagles without even being seen right?
you do understand that even if you took away the f22 the ability for drones to be able to see the battle field and give live video alone makes sure that the current force wins
sometimes i wonder how dumb the average person is...then someone comes and post something like this and it makes me realize the average person is way dumber than i ever thought.

Good grief man, this is just a casual message board meant for random topics.

Now this is much more of a hypothetical. I say modern one, but it’s something that we at least have to think about.
