He is having some appearances at his new sports entertainment complex on Vets. I am sure he would be happy to do it there if you stopped in for a visit.

He’d be happy to sign it for $100. Dude will do anything for money.

Brees won't even speak on camera unless you plug one of his organizations or pay him an appearance fee.
Have we not learn anything from him yet?

Fans can be jerks. It’s a Jason Taylor card/highlight. Why would you send a kid up to poke fun? Drew seemed to handle it fine. But inside he’s got to be tired of these appearances dealing with dweebs.

And drew brews can be a nut less coward when it comes to standing behind words he said about his family when it might upset some of his black teammates.
So what is your point?

The point is that the kid was being sent up there by his parent instead of the parent having the gonads to do it himself. Brees is less likely to give the kid a hard time than some adult goofball.

It’s wild how people get so absolutely offended when anyone says something negative but based in truth about their favorite players or players from their favorite team
Toss up between which is the worst: here or the rant

He charges way more than that when doing formal signings, permy

I will forever be grateful to Drew Brees for the best years in Saints history and the Super Bowl win. It's cool having one of the best QBs in history be a Saint. But any respect I had for the man was greatly diminished when he knelt to the mob instead of flipping them off and retiring happily.

I’ve dealt with Drew and his wife, personally, and they have been friendly, generous people…

Couldn’t afford the actual drew brees card?

—Yeah. We learned he was the QB when the Saints won their only Superbowl. And that makes him permanently OK with me.

Definitely OK with me for the success and Super Bowl he brought us as long suffering fans.
Its just hard to give a pass to someone that doesn't stand on the principals he always seemed to preach. The arse kissing/Jacob Blake/apology tour was over the top and he caved immediately under the pressure. He lost a lot of credibility with fans. To me, it was sad the way everything ended. It should not have happened that way.
I also distinctly remember Sean Payton and the Saints organization letting Brees twist, without any show of support during that time when Brees was isolated in that situation.

No it shouldn’t have. Brees proved to be a spineless sack of shite. All his leadership is fake just kowtows to where the wind blows and the prevailing thought of an ignorant locker room.
