Polling the board here. Anyone have a drink that tastes good and is fairly healthy? Doesn’t have to be super healthy but something better than sweet tea. I drink water all day but like to have something with flavor when I eat so looking for something to drink at supper time that isn’t terrible for you. I usually drink sweet tea lemonade or beer/cocktail. Anybody got any suggestions?

Edit: not a huge fan of fake sugar taste also like aspartame. I would rather it be “less healthy” and have real sugar vs that.

I drink water with dinner at home and when I eat out unless I feel like having wine. The food should carry the flavor.

Thanks for the update.

The answer is quite literally any zero calorie drink on the market. There are hundreds (thousands?) of them

I switched from sweet to unsweet tea a while back, the initial shock is hard but after a couple weeks I liked it better, now sweet tea just tastes like a mouthful of sugar to me and is not enjoyable.

I buy the Pure Leaf unsweetened tea and add 2 packets of monk fruit sweetener and it taste great. Monk fruit is natural and taste good. If not Tea then idk what you could continuously drink that’s healthy

I like Topo Chico.

I prefer plain but several of the flavored ones are good.

Spindrift Lemon is a nice change of pace. No added sugar and refreshing.

I do this or put a few splashes of Powerade zero in my water. Waterloo or Spindrift if I want something carbonated

It's great by itself, but I add lemon juice and sea salt for an extra kick

My go to is iced tea, kinda weak. I sprinkle in about 1/2 a pack of Limeade Hydralyte per 30oz mug with a bunch of ice. Not overly sweet (following the directions on the Hydralyte would have me put two full packs in at a time, which would be way too much) but just a tad flavored.

That's a mental block. Try stevia. I haven't seen anyone but old people continue to use aspartame (pink) in anything.

I think Milo's zero sugar sweet tea is really good w/ no artificial taste. Mio water drops are pretty good with lots of flavor choices. Also the zero sugar soft drinks don't really seem to have that artificial taste anymore, especially the "fruit" flavors like Sunkist or Sprite.

I have never thought that sweet tea was drinkable, but I do enjou unsweet iced tea with a splash of sweet on top, like 10% sweet. Cant get a restaurant to do it, you can ask for it, but it will come out like half and half which is still too sweet.

Electrolyte tablets or packets of powder. Most of them are Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium and probably some B vitamins. Tons of brands and flavors to choose from.
