Hope this is true, be a lot better than him coming to a West team.

Well, would make sense for BI to win a championship after traded from the Pels

Gotta think BI is traded to the Bucks in that trade and rerouted.

Let him go to Brooklyn. That way the Bucks can suck and we can get another high draft pick depending on how much the NBA rig the lottery that year.

Toronto works as far as coughing up picks, as they have all their own firsts from now until 2031.
Ingram and a prospect or two plus picks may get it done for them. Not that it is market value but it’s better than they would get from Brooklyn, at least from a draft perspective.
Edit - Brooklyn has more picks but they are generally shite. 4 picks this year but three of them are 19, 26, and 27.

He wants to play with Ingram! You should have kept Ingram , traded Zion. Don’t worry. Joe will fix it.

It looks like Ingram has a 15% trade kicker. I get that Toronto has to include salary to make the trade work, but I'm not sure that the Bucks would want to take that on.

Ocho keeps saying the Heat are where he ends up. They don't have a ton of assets, but it might not matter as much if the Bucks send him where he wants. I did a trade in the machine.
Heat- Giannis and Portis
Bucks- Herro, Wiggins, Ware, Jaquez, #20, 2026 swap, 29 1st and 31 1st
It's not horrible. Bam and Giannis do not seem like a great fit. They could change it up and try this instead.
Heat- Giannis and Lillard
Bucks- Wiggins, Bama, Jaquez, Ware, Herro, plus the same picks listed above.
That's actually better for the Bucks to get off Lillard. They should be a playoff team and have a couple of young pieces.
The Heat get to wipe the board in a year with only two contracts on the books. Giannis can build it how he likes (with no draft picks).

Miami wouldn’t do that second one

This doesn't look like any better of a situation for Giannis. If he wants out, he wants to go somewhere he has a chance to win.

Agreed.
$50m plus in dead money for someone who doesn’t really mesh with him is a bit of a nonstarter.

If this is the return for Giannis, 28 other GMs should be fired

If that is the return for Giannis, it means they still got more for him than Dallas got for Luka. Unless you count Flagg as part of the trade.

Absolutely is, if they didn’t take what they took they weren’t getting the 1st pick

Smart man. The West is stupid deep right now. The Mavericks were on the verge of collapse but the league fixing the lottery for them changed that overnight. Most teams have a bright future or can trade to at least create a path to a bright future. The East has Boston, Indiana, New York, and Cleveland. None of the crappy teams really have much young talent or crazy amount of draft picks.
