Murders in Nola are down 36% compared to last year so far. This includes the 14 victims in the New Years terrorist attack. Either way, never stop in New Orleans East.

It’s settled. New Orleans is safe guys!

I thought the amazing headline would be “Man NOT shot in New Orleans East.”

That report left out the word “only”.
Only one man shot to death Monday in New Orleans East

Murders in the hood are barely newsworthy to me these days. Did it happen in an area that I might be in? Nope - good
Also was it an innocent bystander or kid?

My wife works at a hospital in NOLA. When she was leaving tonight, an 8 year old was coming in that got hit in the head with a stray bullet. Wonder if they'll mention that on the news.

Even hurricanes get nervous going through New Orleans East.

I wonder how much New Orleans PD changing to an entirely new reporting system might affect these numbers?

This is the Audubon Place of New Orleans East. If this can happen here it can happen anywhere in New Orleans East.

because we all know mass shootings don't occur in this particular population

Why is this post worthy? "A man shot in New Orleans today"..
Tell me when there is a two week run when no one gets killed. That is some news.

This is not thread worthy.

Murders in New Orleans East are hardly newsworthy, much less TD worthy.

And the shite hole has invaded Jefferson Parish. It’s disgusting what it has turned into.

You post that all the time. Idk where you live in Jefferson parish but there’s really nowhere in Jefferson that reminds me of New Orleans east.
