Tucker is predicted to draw somewhere from $350-$500 million in free agency.
An ugly lockout is coming. MLB has got to figure out some balance between haves and have nots. We're about to have MLBs worst teams ever in back to back seasons with the White Sox and Rockies, meanwhile the Dodgers are purchasing a hall of fame roster with deferrals into the next century. Salary cap and salary floor needs to happen.

There's a floor in the NFL. It's to prevent shitty teams from selling off all their good players to teams with a bigger payroll. There's already a league minimum salary in baseball.

Agreed…,Greed is killing a once great sport. The contracts go up and the overall quality goes down.

Just wait for Skenes to become available…Some team will pay $1 billion for him to throw a baseball…

Tucker is great until he gets hurt and/or the postseason starts

I agree. And while everyone wishes their team spent like the Dodgers, their obnoxious spending will be what kills baseball for a while. Another reason they are public enemy #1.

His postseason OPS is .680 and is minimum .100 under the other guys from the astros post season runs-Alvarez, Bregman, altuve, springer, Correa.
It’s why I say he’s perfect for the cubs a franchise with no post season expectations and is best known for being the “lovable losers”

Along with this guy

Stan Kasten: CEO/part owner of the Dodgers and one of the biggest pricks you'll ever meet.

the LF well at Wrigley really impacted Paredes in his time with the Cubs. So many warning track flyouts with that 355 LF line, makes since he would see improved numbers with the Crawford boxes in his home stadium.

He's got 4 HRs
A pull hitter, it would stand to reason that he may gain an advantage there, but what has played out is that he gives you a QAB. Walks as much as he Ks.
Can get behind 0-2 and work 3-2 with the best of them. That kind of patience plays out in the long run much better than power when it comes to production.

I dont like what the Dodgers are doing. Signing the top free agents of every glass but I don't necessarily begrudge them for doing it. But this system that has no guardrails for payroll where the biggest market team can just stack the roster with the best talent or conversely, smaller markets tank for years and still make the owner a profit. Its a shite product for the league. Somethings wrong if we're having back to back years of the worst baseball team's to play the game.

Tucker is already being exceeded in WAR by Isaac Paredes who was but one of the components of that trade Paredes WAR 1.7 Tucker WAR 1.5 Whoever pays that much for Tucker is going to regret it.
Yeah I’ll take Tucker. Idk how that WAR added up but that’s fricky lol

This right here is why I guess I'll never understand WAR. All of these stats either favor Tucker by a bit or are basically even and somehow WAR doesn't which I thought was a combo of those stats... Is it just because Third is a more valuable defensive position?

Yeah, somehow Tucker is a -.4 dWar
