Lottery - Pels draft odds at each spot

Here are New Orleans’ odds for each potential first-round pick in the 2025 lottery, which will take place Monday in Chicago at 6 p.m. Central:
No. 1 pick: 12.5 percent
No. 2 pick: 12.2 percent
No. 3 pick: 11.9 percent
No. 4 pick: 11.5 percent
No. 5 pick: 7.2 percent
No. 6 pick: 25.7 percent
No. 7 pick: 16.8 percent
No. 8 pick: 2.2 percent
No. 1 pick: 12.5 percent
No. 2 pick: 12.2 percent
No. 3 pick: 11.9 percent
No. 4 pick: 11.5 percent
No. 5 pick: 7.2 percent
No. 6 pick: 25.7 percent
No. 7 pick: 16.8 percent
No. 8 pick: 2.2 percent

I hate these new lotto odds so much. 4th worst record but by far the best chance of picking 6th or 7th

Ok, you are right, but the best odds for a singular spot are the highest at 6th or 7th. That's what I was trying to imply but did a poor job

Basically it’s 50% 1-4, and 50% 5-8 where it should be.
I’m tired of the top 3 picks as history shows they’ll quit on us or not even begin to try to be a professional.

If history is showing Chet Holmgren (#2 2022) or Anthony Edwards (#1 2020) to be unprofessional quitters - sign me up.
Like any draft - its a dice roll. There are winners and losers. A top three can change your franchise or not, but saying you don't want to even take a chance is foolish.

Well that all but seals it. We have zero luck so naturally we will have the 6th or 7th pick which won’t be worth much in trade. Yay.
