Little Village - Downtown

Agreed... used to be one of the best values in BR. I think they're a little more expensive these days

is that place still a thing?

I haven't heard anyone mention it in years.

The bread is still stellar.

Recently ate at the Airline location, was disappointed. Food was cold, tomato sauce was watery...but, the bread was heavenly.

Are their once about a year or so ago…had always heard great things.

It was disgusting tbh… I had lasagna… like how can an Italian place frick it uo… they did.

Actually sent it back- never do that. Got some type of slip bc by that time I ate bread (good) ; it was decent, not really that good.

Wife had some type of pasta… o real gi e it a 3/10.

This was airline location - not sure if others experiences are different

I’d say some of the best steaks I’ve eaten at restaurants have been at regional food type restaurants rather than a place called a “steakhouse”.

Marcello’s in Lafayette has an excellent steak. As does Poseidon’s. BB’s Italia and Fernando’s in Sugar Land are my favorite steaks in that city. DiGiulio Brothers in Baton Rouge cooks a delicious steak as well.

Veal Marsala is excellent.

I ate there last December. That night, I thought the dish was well-executed.
