Last weekend’s showing was powered by standout performances on both sides of the ball, particularly from pitchers Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson, who combined for 11.2 innings, three earned runs allowed and 21 strikeouts, as well as DH Ethan Frey, who went 4-for-10 two home runs, a double and six RBIs. Firmly in the mix to earn the No. 1 national seed in the NCAA Tournament,

Do not want. The last #1 seed to win it all was Miami in 1999.

How can that be? Someone told me on here yesterday that we suck since we don't have 3 shutdown starting arms.....

This gives hard "please don't give me a raise, I don't want to pay more taxes" vibes.

Baseball is weird. You can get swept by #2 and lose 2/3 to #6 and still be ranked #1.

UTSA ranked. Texas A&M not

I’m confused. Without fail, every player on this team has been called out by this board. “The (Insert player’s name.) experiment should end. He needs to be benched. Not good enough. No dawg in this team. Etc.”
Also, every coach on the team has been called out. They all suck.
How can a team with no talent and a coaching staff that isn’t worth a flip, somehow be thought of as The Best Team in America?? It’s almost as if this schizophrenic board has been wrong with these assertions.

Lol. You need to do a little more research.

They probably watched the game and realized Arkansas was awarded enough runs to win by the ump.

This just goes to show that any team can beat anyone. And the polls are just a reflection of who is getting hot and who isn't. Baseball is a funny sport.

Polls and ratings are about as useful as a two week old dog turd!!

I thought we hated baseball America? Which poll do we like again?
Oh wait, the one that always has the highest. I forgot.

D1 only has 6 SEC teams in the top 16.
With the SEC having 10+ teams with a real chance at getting to Omaha as we beat up on each other, pollsters don’t have a clue how to handle it.

Tough weekend for your Sooners.
I think we will be happy with all the polls that come out today.

They just got swept by Missouri, who was 0-24 in conference play before the series. How could you possibly rank them after that
