Is JJ a doc? The area of his arm he was flexing and the velo drop are notoriously linked to serious elbow issues.

No, but the trainer who went and checked him out is a professional and they allowed Kade to throw two more warmup pitches after they checked him out and he touched 92mph on both pitches.

You try really hard to crap on Jay when most is unwarranted.

Anytime you have wrist/forearm tightness, cramping, you have to be concerned. Been there done that with the visit to Andrews Clinic and the scar to prove it.

Praying he’s fine!

You threw 100 pitches at 90 mph in the Louisiana humidity? He could have easily gotten a little dehydrated. He was throwing some very hard innings with a lot of pitches.

True. But is wasn’t a 90 degrees June early evening last night with high humidity. It was pleasant, some might say “cool” for mid-May.

Somehow you think this helps your reasoning that all is well?

I hope he’s perfectly fine, but it’s not some crazy theory that cramping in his wrist could be a sign of elbow issues.
