Airport drinking.

Anyone been near the no-fly list?
Got close once being a moron leaving a week of straight bs 10 hour trainings per day.
Gate agent canceled my boarded pass asap. Surprisingly I was put up at the Westin intercontinental with meal passes and a direct flight home free of charge the next morning…sober now.

There's nothing like drinking at the airport waiting for your 7am flight. Airports are a wild place

You're an animal if you can't control your drinking at an airport bar and they refuse to let you on a flight

Many a White Russians have been had at 6am in the airport lounges. Never close to the no fly list though.

I'm not a big drinker at all. But I love having a beer and people watching at the airport. It is the best.

Normally I drink when I am in a good mood
So typically if I am having a drink at an airport it is before a trip im looking forward to. Just kick starting vacation mode. Usually only one and then I may have one on the plane, but that is about it. Want to have my wits about me when landing and settling in for the week
Never really drink on the way back, usually because it is alte and i will likley be heading into the office the next day
Could not imagine being so drunk they would not let me on a plane, that is honestly pretty embarrassing

I prefer this at hotel bars or city center bars even more so than airports, but agreed

Nice hotel bars just seem like they have so many stories.
Ex. Pine Bar at the Biltmore Mayfield in London where Litvenenko was poisoned by the FSB.

some of the best naps I have ever taken have come post morning airport beer. 1-2 high gravity beers or white Russians before 7am and i'm out like a light and wake up at whatever the destination is.
