India is dealing with a regime in Pakistan that is hellbent on allowing terrorism, and now the military is involved. A proxy for China to attack India.

So Pakistan is veering hard into FAFO territory and China seems to be involved.

This isn’t getting near enough attention as MSM is pre-occupied with the new pope.

I double took when I read “125 fighter jet dogfight.”

An aerial clash between India and Pakistan that has been described as one of the biggest air battles since the end of World War II highlights how modern air combat now happens mostly out of sight — and with radar replacing sharp-eyed pilots

If the machines outclass the humans, how long until no humans will be directly involved?

To me a dogfight is guns, not missiles. That was the purpose of the formation of “Top Gun”. The pilots relied on missiles too much and their overall “dogfighting” skills suffered.

Within 20 years. Probably both military and commercial flights though commercial flight will probably still have humans in the cockpit

A Pakistani security source told CNN that some 125 Indian and Pakistani fighter jets were involved on Wednesday in an aerial battle lasting over an hour—in what may be one of the largest dogfights in recent history.

Chinese made J-10 jets testing out their capabilities vs Indian Air Force Rafales, MiGs, and SU-30 jets.

To me that is something to watch out for…

Fake. Not a dogfight. They didn't even leave their own airspace

Hopefully we have developed sufficiently advanced remote control with AI assisted aircraft.

There is no consideration for human G force limitations for flight capabilities. And if the plane goes down you don’t loose the pilots which helps a lot on war. Battle of Britain owes it success partly due to if a German pilot/crew were shot down they were captured and permanently eliminated from the conflict. British pilots were shot down over their own territory so they could go right back up.

I don’t like India or Pakistan. Nor, do I trust any sides to tell the truth.

However I believe Pakistan has the stain of starting this conflict with allowing terrorist to attack out of its territory.

Big question, while fleeing a dying China, why should one invest in India under threat of atomic weapons

Pakistan is China’s tool. My concern is that China is menacing in multiple places right now.

Pakistan has religious zealots that murder for religious beliefs.

Pakistan military claims no responsibility for terrorist groups’ actions, essentially claiming to not be able to control them.

You don’t see terrorists from India crossing the border and slaughtering innocent civilians out of the blue for religious beliefs.

To answer your question -
India is no different from other atomic powers. But they are under threat from China, and China supports countries that border India.

Will be interesting to see how the 200 million Muslims in India will play into what appears to be a a worsening conflict.

This is almost a completely incorrect summation of the situation.

The Pakistani government was installed by Biden by overthrowing an elected government (think Ukraine 2014).

The current govt has in many ways stopped China's attempt at gaining access to the Arabian sea port of Gwadar.

So not really China's tool any more.

Yeah my team has been doing air raid drills all week in hydrabad and guragram. I feel so bad for them, it's pretty scary situation with what Pakistan is doing in retaliation for India striking some terrorist.
