Sounds like they will either trade kp or jrue. Maybe both.

I love how the pacers are built.
I could see them taking this series.

Years ago I made a thread on here saying we should have traded for KP and of course no one wanted him.
It was when he could be had for next to nothing off the Mavs I believe.
Griffs biggest issue was never buying low on other players, KP, Lauri M, Spyder, but then selling his players at their lowest value.

You’re 100% right about the buying low thing, but it wasn’t the Mavs you wanted to look into him for, it was the Wizards

Boston won’t be looking to take higher salaries, they are looking to lower their overall salary. This has no bearing on Pels as we cannot eat any salary

There are not a lot of teams that can. I don't know why other teams will be willing to help them out. Better to hamstring them. They want to hold onto their primary 3 (Tatum, Brown and White). I don't know a lot of teams that are going to want Holiday and Porzingis unless they are deeply discounted. They might end having to move other pieces. That 500M payroll next year is scaring the hell out of them..

He'd be salary dumped in 2022 to the Washington Wizards for Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans, leaving his time with the Mavs as mostly disappointing. He's gone on to win a championship with the Boston Celtics this past year over Dallas, but injuries have remained a constant theme with him.
I’d have to go dig up the thread, but he was just a salary dump off the Mavs.
Bertans and Dinwiddle were bad contracts.

It's going to depend on Garland. They could lose the series if Garland isn't healthy enough to play a big role in the series.
Indiana was 3-1 against the Cavs in the regular season. They match up well against them.

I could see Jrue retiring.

Why would he retire? He has 3 years and over 100 mil left to get on his contract. He's not giving that up and retire now.

Zion for Tatum. One can dream.

I believe the only thing Dumars is known to be good at is buying low on distressed assets. His ability to draft and sign FA is HOF level bad.

If only we can go back in time.
AD, zion for Tatum, brown, and picks.

Boston wasn’t offering shite, even with Zion, because Douche Flavored Ruffles wanted LA and had his dad trash talking Boston and the Celtics specifically to try and kill their interest.

Just like years ago I asked about Kyrie and no one wanted him.
Same as lauri.
