Bringing young kids (10,9,7) to lsu vs Arkansas on Friday. First time visiting the campus and wanted to give them the full experience.
What are some things to do, places to eat, etc to give them a full lsu experience other than Mike the Tiger?
Thanks in advance. 3 future tigers very excited.

Get you a Poorboy from Raul's and then take them to the Mike's cage and then go to a baseball game but before that get dinner at Mike Anderson's and keep your head on a swivel the whole time, baby.

Mike's Cage, LSU Lakes, take them over by the Lod Cook Alumni Center, OG Canes, Student Union, and the Greek Amphitheatre and Indian Mounds.
Assuming you're a grad, take them by some of your old university buildings.

Eat lunch at Louie's, Chimes, or the original Cane's just north of campus. Walk along Dalrymple to the Indian Mounds and then down the hill to Mike's enclave by the PMAC and Tiger Stadium. Walk back up the hill and through the quad, turning to the south. Go see the outdoor sculpture garden just south of the quad. Walk through Howe Russell and see the bone exhibits and dinosaur sculpture. Get Ice Cream at the new dairy store across S Campus Dr from Howe Russell. Go to the Union to use the restroom, sit in the AC, and kill time until the game.

You can show them the statues near the PMAC if you're going to Mike's Cage

Raul’s is a cesspool of filth. I would not feed my dog food from that dirty place.

Go see Mike and let them slide down the Indian mounds

I thought the Indian Mounds were fenced off now?

Go early and take them to the top of the State Capitol if you can. I loved that as a kid.
Guy is right about the batting practice. Kids love that. Let them run around the stadium if they have enough sense to stay out of trouble. Give them plenty of concession money.

On campus:various things
Mikes habitat is number one and his statue along with the other cluster on fb related stuff in front of stadium in parking lot… a small nature museum with various taxidermy animals and an older Mike ( foster hall I believe google it) close to that is the memorial library ( original one in Exxon square).. it has old maps and stuff .. looks like a Harry Potter movie … the geology building has some nice rocks/ minerals and displays.. has a full size dinosaur skeleton.. book store for stuff .. may get lucky and find stuff on sale . Not uncommon to find racks with Nike sales… Union has tons of eating options….. lunch buffet in the faculty club( I forget what they are calling it now.. no reservations.. Friday usually fish related .. pretty good food.. look at lsudinning website.. Indian mounds ( yes fenced off now) walk into old field house and look at old mike mosaic on floor.. then walk past and see the pool area converted to green space.. this will lead you to all the bball player statues in front of the pmac.. dairy store is good for a snack but is in flux.. old one gone and they have a temporary one set up by it as they are building an entirely new complex.. chimes etc ok.. but realistically you would have more fun in the union eating .. tons of options and a better on campus feel with views and students all around. Old plane and cannon by aerospace/rotc building. Small lake by dorms always has tons of ducks looking for food..

The Children’s Museum is on Dalrymple, very close to campus.
First floor of Alex Box has a hall of fame that is free to tour. Is kind of under the left side of the big front stairs.

Drive them through the infamous Tigerland

Show them the tunnels. Bring some flasks and teach them how to sneak in their apple juice. You know, practical life lessons.
