I thought Democrats wanted the super rich to pay their fair share? They should be on their knees in front of Trump ready to serve their King at this point

GM has waaaaaay more problems than tariffs right now. They have apparently completely forgotten how to build engines even though they built the first smallblock v8 70 years ago.

There will be lots of companies blaming unrelated shite on tariffs and doing unpopular shite that they were planning anyway and blaming that on tariffs. The media will try to cover for them.

Dems do want that.

GMs effective tax rate is like 2.4%.

Lol you think gm isn't putting the cost on costumers? It's called publicity.

Apparently, only if THEY are the ones to make the super rich pay their fair share. If Trump causes it, then obviously it's bad.

Too much emissions bullshite and electronics on modern engines. A 305 or 350 from the 80's is damn near indestructible and anyone with basic mechanical knowledge can work on them.

This should be the tariff trade off. Govt cuts regulations and lets these manufacturers start putting good engines in vehicles again. Should’ve been done day 1. But I could be wrong. I just assume these companies would make the best engine they can

That tells you everything you need to know. If GM is doing this, it's because they can afford to do this. If it took them out of the black, they'd pass down the costs.

Everyone should think about that.

Aside from that active fuel management horseshite, the V8s are still money.

Biggest issue for them is that GM builds shite vehicles.

GM should never be bailed out again. When it inevitably dies soon because of that, it should be carved up and sold off to smaller companies to devour that corpse and become the new generation of competition. Lighter, nimbler, able to adapt. It's the cycle of life in business as long as you don't try to keep a dinosaur alive past his expiration date.

That is the point. When you are talking about Democrats being hypocritical you use their phrases to get the point across. This is the perfect gif for you

The panicans told us that this absolutely could not happen. It's amazing how many times the Trump detractors are wrong. It's like watching the kid who eats paste try to do math.
