Is Deven Sheerin really gonna be able to pitch again this season?

Throw mid week game next week

I’d rather not his first appearance be the SEC Tourney

Would be awesome if we could get him back and him be a viable piece. I'm not counting on it too heavily, but I thought there was essentially a 0% chance he played this year when we started.

Can he come in and throw strikes? I guess only one way to know…

Next Tuesday would definitely seem like the ideal opportunity

probably the last opportunity. unless he just looks phenomenal in his simulated games ,I doubt we see him in sec play . if we're in a lopsided game maybe. I doubt he comes in an sec game if it's close

Even if it’s in garbage time, you get him in for the excitement and butterflies. May not mean much to us this year but will for next year.

Should have thrown him last night instead of Noot

The SECT will hopefully not mean a lick for us this year. Same with the series @ USCe. Might be the perfect time to throw him

To you point our last midweek of the season is Grambling State.

Or we get up or down big vs A&M this weekend and get him out there. Lot of options at Jays disposal.

Yea sec tourny should mean very little to us. Anyone nicked at all should sit and we should rest our big arms or very limited use

almost every post says throw him midweek but my post about throwing him last night instead of noot gets downvoted. I do believe they were up big.

Why? The SEC Tourny is trivial.

yeah, then maybe he comes in against grambling and has ,let's say 2 innings with 4ks and 1 hit 0 bb 0r
then you try him in sec play when the victor isn't in question, say he does the same thing in that situation.

now you got a guy you throw in there in a close game and see how he does if he's good the. you just worry about extending him as much as possible before the ncaa tournament.

this is the best possible outcome, not likely to go this smooth

may as well go hard for the sec tournament championship, hell it's single elimination, with us having a double bye we won't have to win but ,what,3 games?

And then get him a starters work load on the Cape this summer 40ish innings. It would go a long way.
