This week is the 33rd anniversary of the 1992 LA Riots and the Rooftop Koreans

Let's not forget the truck driver who was brutalized by the mob.

I was living in Orange County working in L.A. County when this happened. The only businesses attacked in the riots were almost exclusively Korean owned businesses and stores with booze and/or drugs.

Almost all vehicles car jacked were trucks and vans.

Afterwards, driving around the area, the only businesses burned out were those looted or Korean owned.

Done in 1 take. When they played it back and realized that Bradley Nowell had made a mistake with the date, the band decided the recording was so strong they left the mistake in the final cut.

I was too young to remember the Urban riots of the 60's but I will never forget this event. It was pretty much the one event that cemented the impression that the Urban basketball Americans were a net drain on our society.

That was a great week of entertainment on CNN each night.

So blacks hating asians goes back at least 33 years.

Remember when the media HARDCORE pushed the "stop asian hate" message, only to completely abandon that several weeks later when everyone realized that it's mostly back people that hate and attack asian people?

Its also why David Bowie lived in New York. He had just married Iman and she wanted to live in LA. They were out driving looking at houses when the riots went down. I mean literally on the day Denny got jacked and LA suddenly exploded. He got them to the airport and flew them out of Cal, stat.

LAPD pulled out of the area under Mayor's Office orders because of the optics.

Then the Mayor's Office criticized people who defended themselves.

Can't make that stuff up.
