Prime must not understand the purchasing power of American that voted for this.
You would think that they would have learned from Bud, target, Dis...etc...

I got off of Amazon about a year ago. Price for prime keep increasing, increased delays in shipping times. There's no difference buying from another site anymore or direct from the manufacturer's site. The shipping times were the best part of prime. Walmart has pretty much replaced it for my family anyway. Same day delivery/pickup and Walmart's website has the same shitty Chinese crap that Amazon does.
Just about everything on Prime video can be found on other streaming platforms. I see no benefit to even have it, and haven't felt the need to buy off of amazon since.

Because putting facts on label is bad?
Care to say why it's bad besides a downvote? Still haven't gotten a coherent answer on it yet.

I’ve only used Amazon maybe 10 times. I’ll look for every other avenue before using amazon. Frick that guy!

I try my best not to use amazon

If Amazon would have done this for Joe Biden’s and Kama Harris’ inflation then it wouldn’t bother me.. but they didn’t

Why didn't amazon do this when biden increased and added tariffs on chinese products multiple times?

“Welcome to the party, pal!”

I find a lot of products on Amazon a lot more expensive than just going to the local retail outlet and purchasing the same items there.

Damn. I was hopeful Bezos would do it.
What better way to find out what products not to buy?

Amazon is the epitome of the disconnect with the transition America is hopefully undergoing. The American dream was never about being able to buy cheap trinkets and junk to be delivered in a day or less. It was always about a steady income, fulfilling work that impacted your community, the ability to go to the local grocery store and bring back food to your family at the house you owned.

Because the tariffs now are on a level that previous admins never came anywhere close to.
In my business (heavy equipment) many vendors are adding this as a separate charge, and not just Chinese brands. Even Cat and Deere get ALOT of components and parts from China, and a 145% surcharge hits all over the place.
It amazes me that there is this selective outrage about this. If you don’t understand how these tariffs are such a game changer for more than just your cheap stuff from Walmart, you really have very little understanding of international business.
I’m not saying I don’t see the point of them, but I’m not blind to the effects, either.

"Cancel Prime" is trending on Elon Musks social media platform?
I'm shocked!

I know you're fishing for tariff responses but there's a coherent answer right above your post, imo. The juice has been less & less worth the squeeze with Prime here lately as membership prices rise, delivery times increase, and the marketplace has become more and more heavily flooded with cheap crap. And once there's room for complaint, people like to pile on.
People have gotten savvy to all the fake reviews, and just the other day there was a thread about the sort by newest option being eliminated.
TLDR: The shine has worn off, the product is worse, and people are just using this latest point as an excuse for what they were already planning to do

I rarely downvote.
Yes. I can explain it. IT was pressure from the Chinese Gov. As Reuters explained, Amazon teamed with China's propaganda apparatus.
That begs the question... why now?
They did not do that under Biden. They did it on the man who is actually hurting them.
This was never about transparency. It's about optics and trying to erode public support of Trump.

“As requested, we’ve paused your Prime membership. To resume your membership, update your plan settings.
Thank you,
Amazon Customer Service”
Amazon sides with Chyna. Why no made in the US filter and spotlight, instead of just bitching about tariffs?
Their executives should be investigated

When Amazon first came along I managed to go over 5 years without stepping foot in a WalMart. I'll always be grateful for that. But yeah, Prime is not the deal it once was.
