BATON ROUGE - A man was killed in a shooting just outside the doors of the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Cortana Place late Monday night.

Sources told WBRZ that the shooting was a result of a disagreement between two Amazon employees. They said it happened around 11:15 p.m. after the night shift had gone on break, starting at 11 p.m. Employee Dylan Anthony was killed, family told WBRZ.

Sources said that as soon as the gunshots were heard, managers told employees to run. Both Baton Rouge Police officers and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to the facility shortly before 11:30 p.m. No one other than law enforcement was permitted to enter the facility after midnight.

Employees waited until after 1 a.m. to get their vehicles out of the parking lot. By 2:30 a.m., the facility was still shut down.

Well that didn't take long.

Amazon may need to adjust their hiring procedures given it's the BR market...

Sounds like the same ones that are the delivery drivers bringing stuff to my house. I don't think they're background checking these folks.

Never have I disagreed with anyone on anything and decide I’d just shoot the other person.

They hire 18-year-old high school students who haven’t yet had an adult offense.

Wasn't there another recent shooting at a BR Amazon facility?

Or was it a fight?

Consider the pool to pick from, consider society today. I’m sure they’re vetting the people they hire, but just because they weren’t arrested prior to being employed doesn’t mean they’re not capable of doing stuff like this. Amazon’s not broke. Society is.

Why would they? They can tell if a driver is stealing packages within 72 hours or so, I'd imagine. You background check people, your labor force disappears, but you don't need to, because you'll figure out who is a thief before you incur very many losses.

Joe Biden, the most intelligent man to ever hold office (outside of Obama), tried to warn us about the dangers of white supremacy. We did not listen. Now we must pay.

White Supremacy never sleeps.

Was that before or after he told black voters if they weren't for him then they "ain't black?"
