The first back to back victories of the year and Easter Sunday means we get relive one of the most beloved Astros of all time

quote:

Question: Does anything stop Lima Time?

Jose Lima to The Windsor Star: “Nothing stops Lima Time.”

quote:

“He never really changed,” Dierker said. “He just challenged everybody and got away with a lot. Really, to be honest, those years at the [Astrodome], I was scratching my head and saying, ‘How is he doing this stuff?’ His stuff isn’t that good. And they’re getting great swings at him and he’s not giving up very many runs, and he’s pitching seven, eight, nine innings, and he’s laughing and jumping over foul lines and having a great time and putting the whole team in a good mood.”

Great Commercial.

The Astrodome was deep cavern for hitters. One of a kind place in its time. Superdome was bigger but Astrodome had “it”.

Both buildings had "it" but only one still truly exists. The rest were mediocre copies.

Eighth Wonder of the World combined with an Astroworld visit made for a perfect weekend for a kid, and sometimes a perfect day if your parents took you to both in one day.

As much as I like the Superdome, the Astrdome was in a class by itself.

They used to have one in LC, I loved that place. Life was more simple back in the early 2000s

Happy to be back in town and in front of the TV for the game. Listened to our guys on the radio Friday night and missed all of last night. Hoping Framber can give us 6 innings tonight. Will be a tough go against Cease on the mound

ETA: frick ESPN and their shitty broadcast
