Free Speech and Criticism of Israel

David Friedman on Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens
I’m not sure if this link will work because it is to instagram, but this video is not uploaded anywhere else that I could find. David Friedman was asked specifically about Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens criticizing Israel. His response was the following:
“We can’t win over the hearts and minds of antisemites, because they don’t have hearts and they don’t have minds. What we can do is deport them, we can put them in jail, we can make their lives miserable, we can cut off their funding, and that’s what the Trump administration is doing for the first time.”
Put aside your feelings about Hamas and Islamic terrorism in general. How do you feel about the idea of Americans facing these types of consequences for criticizing a foreign nation?

Are you suggesting that American citizens are being deported?

Not saying that has happened yet, but he is literally referring to two Americans when he gave this response.

Sounds to me like he's talking about the foreign visitors here bashing our nation, causing unrest, burning our flag, etc., all the while seeking citizenship. We don't need those folks here.

I'm not able to click the link at this moment, but I don't see any way this guy is talking about anyone aside from the non citizen activists that have been deported.

And good luck deporting them... Not certain if there is even a crime that they could commit that would take away their citizenship...

Everyone needs to stop using the word antisemitism.
It’s a meaningless term that is used as some special form of racism.
It’s pointless and anyone that thinks there’s an “antisemitism” issue is no different that some dumb woke black bitch that’s in BLM saying America is a racist country.

Definitely not for natural born citizens. There are limited cases where a naturalized citizen can have it revoked. But otherwise it’s only voluntary renunciation.

It’s a dangerous slippery slope and these people and organizations have too much power and influence in our country. It’s anti-American to punish people for dissent or opinions regardless of who it’s for.

Free speech means free speech no matter whom is being spoken about.

Are we talking about American citizens or non-citizens? There's is a difference.

This is also on top of the fact that literally any criticism of Israel now equals antisemitism. It’s the exact same woke bullshite that we’ve been hearing from the left for 15 years.

Which is why James Lindsay calls this the “woke right”

I had about 20 foreign exchange students in my small college dorm. None of them ever bashed America. But they sure as hell bashed the people from other countries. A real conversation with an Indian:
Mukesh: 'Zach, are there any British students here? I hate the British.'
Me: 'Well, I've seen Dutch, Japanese, Iranian and Korean so far. But no Brits.'
Mukesh: 'Well, if you see one, let me know. I will kill him!'
He was deported one month later for passing bad checks. He explained when I said goodbye to him: 'I thought as long as you had checks in your checkbook, it meant you had money in your account. Father is very mad at me.'

They don't call him 'Zion Don' for no reason. His father was a major supporter of the formation of Israel through 'Israel Bonds' and other donation mechanisms in the 40's, and Trump is no different. He's even pardoned numerous Jewish criminals, including the spy Jonathn Pollard, who now lives happily in Israel.
I'll bitch to high hell if they try to implement Euro-style don't say Jew laws, but it's what it is. I no longer have to endure luggage-stealing tranny nuclear waste disposal mutants, but I guess this is the trade-off.

You can’t separate the two. It completely changes the issue.

They are not so no answer is needed.
Deporting illegals or visitors that promote terrorism and support terrorist regimes is a good thing.
