New place that took over the old Blue Rose Cafe location.
Tried it the other day, thought it was just ok. The pictures and reviews looked great. I found it to be under-seasoned personally. It did seem like fresh, quality ingredients but the taste overall just didn't wow me. The patty reminded me of a thinner version of Dearman's, but with less seasoning.
Overall it seemed like a healthy choice lifestyle type of burger which some people might appreciate, just wasn't what I was expecting.
3 stars out of 5.

What a terrible, gimmicky name. I'm not surprised by your rating

I mean, I will eat Dearmans but I'm not sure its possible to make a burger with less seasoning.

If it's really Wagyu, maybe it's not wrong to not encrust it in SlapYaMomma.

I thought it was great. One of the better burgers I’ve had in BR

Is it possible to make a less seasoned burger than shitty dearmans?

Believe it not, years ago, when Dearmans was a drug store with soda fountain they had some of the best burgers and fries in the city. It is shitty now.

Mid 90s Dearmans was awesome. Assuming you didn’t have a hair in your burger.

I ate their once week my entire young life through the 80's 90's Id still chow down on it ..hair and all. Their fountain cokes were also so good.

I've enjoyed their burgers from the food truck

Went there this week. Thought the patty was great. Flavorful and had that crispiness you want in a smash burger.
Thought the bun was terrible. Either toast that bun or get another option.
Pickles were crappy cheap thin grocery store pickles.
Get a better bun and some homemade pickles and it would be a great burger.

I picked up from there the other day. Burger was delicious, but they gave me cold French fries. WTF?
It was a bunch of young 20 somethings working, so I'd take a bet they'll be the downfall of the business.

Just curious, but what makes it healthier? You know Wagyu is fattier and has more calories, right?

They must be having consistency issues as I found the opposite. Flavorless patty and not crispy at all. But I found the bun and other toppings to be good.

Went this week. Got the goat cheese and pepper jelly burger. I liked it a lot. tasted quality. No, the patty was not seasoned to hell but with the other ingredients on the one I ordered, it didn't matter to me. It was not a crispy patty like I'm accustomed to with smash burgers but it was delicious. I actually liked the bun (St Brunos?) which aside from the St. Brunos buns at some of the places around town, I tend to dislike a lot of buns. The fries were fresh, seasoned well and hot. The 20 somethings working there were fast, polite and even visited the table to make sure everything was good. Judging by the replies they have some kinks to work out but I won't write them off yet.

I don’t know if maybe I had an older bun or I just do t like it, but it had a dryness to it that I didn’t like at all.
The truffle fries I had were great.
I’ll definitely go back to try the specialty burgers.

all the downvoters refuse to speak out because of how true these statements are. they probably think FDL and Pastime are good pizza too
