At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable. Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

One of the negotiating points is going to be not allowing these countries to be a middle man for China. This is all about breaking China.

First off, I am thrilled with the 90-day pause. It goes against everything Trump has talked about for decades, but I am glad someone get to him and intimidated him back to something closer to sanity.
However, if volatility (like we have seen in the last week) is the actual plan, it would be hard to draw up a worse plan. This should require no explanation to any thinking person.

a mistaken assumption. Trump WAS negotiating from a position of strength, now he isn't. This 90 day pause is a bad move that makes him look weak.
Because all the countries obviously negotiated before Apr 2nd, "liberation day". trump didnt like those neigiations and through it anyways.
every country know he will fold from his tariffs within days, this is about the 3rd time, some of his prominent backers are publicly criticizing him and his party is drafting legislation to block his tariffs in the future.
