I understand there are "better" sidearms available for doing redneck stuff but my go to is the KelTec PMR30. It's perfect for me & I've trusted it for several years. It allows me to keep my "safe queens" well in the safe.

Mine fishes salt/fresh, it's gone for a swim or two & goes mudding with no fk's to give. It's feather light holds 30 rounds of 22mag, shoots fast/flat, it's reliable & easy to clean. Yes reliable, run CCI load the mag like you have some sense & you're good to go.

I liken it to a hornet's nest, "go ahead stick your hand in there." I can use it and not care about it being lightly abused. I'm somewhat a simple dude have plenty of $3k firearms but my PMR30 makes me grin.

Y'all stay safe and keep those Tarpon Captains off your boat!

I keep a Keltec pf9 in my pocket in my little boat. If I ever was overnight or had the ability to go offshore I would bring a bullpup or possibly an AR pistol

Mine is a Ruger EC9S. Cheap af and it's always gone boom when I needed it to.

Sig P365 for everything these days. Daily carry, fishing, hiking, elk hunting, bedside safe, whatever.

Pocket carry with a flush 10 round or bedside with a 17 rounder and a light.

Such a versatile little thing and one of the few striker fired options that offers a safety. Ive sold off all my other self shucking pistols.

I will embarrass myself, here.

I carry an LCP every day at work. It fits in mynpocket and allows me to carry every day.

I tried a g43 and a Kahr cm7. Too heavy for ME and what I do.

I won’t shame anyone for keeping a 22. As long as they are armed, it’s better than nothing.

Sig p365 Legion. For me it is the absolute perfect handgun. From how well I shoot it, how comfortable the G10 grips are to my hands, outstanding mag capacity for it’s size.

Typical Sig Sauer shite. You can easily tell what sells for them because as soon as something starts moving, you can bet your arse they will start selling 85 versions of it within a year.

The regular ol plain jane 365 (with a safety for me) is where it's at. There's no reason for the longer grip ones, you can shove a 17 rounder in the regular one. There's no reason for the longer barrel ones, they're too big to pocket carry. The regular one is on the fringes of too big for pocket carry already.

Just try the regular old regular one. With a 12 round mag it's a good bit smaller than a G19 and about the same weight. 2 less rounds and wayyyyyyyy smaller (and with a safety) - sign me up.

I've got an X Macro I'm considering trading for a regular one just for better concealment

They got it right the first time. Now that night sights and optics cuts are standard, it's a no brainer.

Hard to beat a PSA dagger for a knock around gun. Keep one in my truck.

Hellcat Pro with Holosun EPS carry is my EDC. Glock 19x is my carry when I don't care as much about concealment or getting super sweaty and dirty. Trust it to go bang, shoot well with it, not a ton invested in it, tons of replacement parts available if ever needed.

When I go somewhere sketchy and want a gun in my pocket, that's what I carry too.

A PSA Dagger goes back and fourth from my house to my truck for the every day thing though.

That trigger tho. Great gun. .38 or .357?

My PF9 only holds 8. I just want SOMETHING on me in the boat in case I need it. More than likely at the launch or if I beach it near the bridge dwellers near chimes
