They can't exempt themselves from state laws but if they want to start their own community I don't see the problem.

It will be a radical breeding ground. If there's a way to stop it legally, I hope it's stopped. Muslims aren't like the rest of us.

i can't see a legal basis, then again i'm no SFP, tsk tsk.

if it was bought legally and adhered to every single law then they're not gonna stop it

Cool. Good for them, I'd imagine it would make adhering to their whacky religious nonsense easier

By creating their own community and segregating themselves? While I agree some radicals do, so does the Christian right.... Both are silly little religions but folks have a right to their beliefs so long as that individual isn't doing anything illegal.

this. their rules will simply act like an HOA. if they over-step they will be sued and lose.

Funny how everyone except white people can “start their own community”.

False equivalence — Islam calls for non-believers to be converted, enslaved, or murdered, and we see examples of its terror play out all over the world.

You don’t see that from Christians.

Something tells me you haven’t spent much time around muslims. I’m all for “live and let live”, but that all depends on folks around me agreeing to do the same. They don’t.

Texas has a history of religious groups isolating themselves on tracts of land -

the Feds also have a history of their own with those religious groups in TX -

maybe the Islamic city planners should take heed -
