who else recruited MK out of high school? I never thought she would leave since she is a homegrown talent and has had long relationships with the coaching staff
I wonder if Redus is taking a head coaching job somewhere because she is extremely close with him.
also if both are leaving, I wouldn’t expect Flaujae to return meaning there wouldn’t be a single returning starter for next season…

Damn. This was an unpleasant surprise.
The only positive spin I can give this is that Serah Williams is coming and maybe Smith thinks she’ll be back on the bench with Serah Williams and incoming five star freshman Grace Knox starting. But I’d sure think Smith would start over Knox.
This really sucks. If true we’d better hope Smith was the “star” they were talking about LSU losing and there’s nothing to the MKW rumors. Hell, a NC contending program does NOT lose starters to the portal.

It's possible. A school may have reached out with more money. I can't see why it really makes sense for any other reason. Starter or a perennial elite 8 team, her position should be safe.
