5 Episodes Into Severance

Good lord. This is one of those shows that you only get once every 5-7 years. If you're like me and have been on the fence about "adding anotherrrrrr subscription," just take the plunge, get Apple TV, and watch this.
One of those works of art that has you wishing you came up with it. Even when I was familiar with the basic synopsis a year ago, I never fathomed the implications of the concept or the depths to which it could be explored.
Stellar.

If you like the first 5 episodes that much, the last 3 of S1 are going to blow your tits away. They are a fun ride.
I'm way too dumb for that

Nice! The S1 finale is one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen.
Enjoy the ride.

Season 1 is great.
Season 2 drags at points and the writers seem to be trying to get cleverer just for it's own sake. This is epitomized by the ridiculous final.

Do yall think they're making it up as they go? Or do they have a master plan with the major story beats for future seasons mapped out?

I already started my rewatch and season 2 just ended.
I’ll have watched season 1-2 almost 3-4 times in two months
It’s phenomenal.

Renewed my Apple + subscription after Monarch Legacy of Monsters was done. Mainly to watch this show.
No ragrets here.

OP, do not listen to this guy. Season 2 was outstanding and continues down the rabbit hole that you are already enjoying.
shite gets DEEP.

If they actually pull it off, it'll go down as one of the all-time greats. That's a big "if" though- I have no reason to believe it'll happen but it's the kind of show that could easily go completely off the rails (ie. LOST)

I’m the dummy. But you think the ludicrous thing we see in episode 3-and the ultimate reason for this we’re given-is good writing? Not to mention the reward party we see, and the implications needed for that?
Some of y’all would eat a shite sandwich and sing its praises if some art house cinephile recommended it. The emperor has no clothes.

I feel bad if you didn’t like season 2. My suggestion is this show actually isn’t for you. Season 2 was enthralling. I’m already through my second rewatch and following along with the official podcast.
