LSUS Baseball wins weekend series by combined score of 94-4

WTF??

quote:

On Sunday, LSU Shreveport Baseball hosted its final game of its series against Texas College, where the Pilots continued to dominate, winning Saturday’s matchup 42-4.

The Pilots started the series off strong with a 37-0 victory on Thursday, followed by a 15-0 win in the day’s doubleheader.

quote:

The first pitch thrown to the Pilots, Ryan Davenport shot over the wall for an early 1-0 start to set the tone for the game. LSUS went on to put up 15 more runs in the bottom of the first, getting them a 16-0 advantage before Texas College’s fourth batter in the lineup saw a pitch.

As someone who knows that particular conference... this is an annual thing with Texas College

Maybe not 94-4 over 3 games bad... but 60 or 70 to 4 over 3 games

Their teams are just not competitive in almost anything

Heck... I was there when their women's soccer team... which only had 8 players active... got like 24 goals scored on them in 1 match

Shoeless Joe was illiterate, Yogi Berra never attended HS, and think of all the foreign players who’ve come from the developing world. Baseball has always been the working man’s game. You don’t need literacy to throw faster than frick.

I don’t care what playing level you’re at. Being able to win 3 Baseball games by an average of 31-1 is impressive.

Texas College is that bad... teams literally give them outs

I've seen a team literally bunt into outs against them just to get the games over... in baseball

In softball other teams will steal early to get out when they're up like 15

ETA: and that's after STARTING the regular back-ups

LSUS

Should be spelt: LSU-SHHH!

As in, “We don’t want to hear about them.”

LSUS has had a strong team for several years. They are 33-0 on the season so far, and many scores are in the 10-0 or 15-2 area. But this Texas College drubbing is on another level.
