There should be a movie about the Wright Brothers.

Has there been one already?
I think that could be a good movie. They were mocked and faced a lot of skepticism but they persevered.

They don't make movies to bolster history anymore, only to rewrite it. You know, like movies about how there would be no space program if it wasn't for five sassy black chicks.
When they work out their bullshite story about the 'real inventor' of the airplane, they'll make a movie about that. Wright Brothers will be called fraudsters.

They would make it about the black woman LGBTQ that was "secretly" the brains of the whole operation and the racist white male Wright Brothers were misogynists and stole the idea.

You were completely unaware that the Wright family's maid had solved the problem of powered flight, weren't you?

Yes. That was all made up. None of it happened in real life. Dramatized ? sure. But GTFO.
I sat on a call with John Glenn and NASA ... both discussed Katherine Johnson's contributions to the mathematical calculations that impacted the Mercury mission. The book and film never said anything about creating the space program -- only lesser known contributions.

Alberto Santos-Dumont has entered the chat.
Didn't even make it a length of a football field.
The Wright Bros made it nearly 900 ft on their 4th attempt.

The Brazilians challenge the assertion that the Wrights were first to make aviation history with a true airplane since they used a launching rail. By contrast, Santos-Dumont won a competition in France on Oct. 23, 1906, when his winged aircraft flew about 200 feet and then landed safely to win the Aero-Club de France prize of 1,500 francs.

They'd be played by two women of Color

this shows your lack of knowledge of how history works. you probably believe Rome was the good guys and everyone they conquered were barbarians and savages..
history has always had inaccuracies and been written by the victors to sell a story, it's not some new trend where old history was real and new history movies are fake propaganda

Feel like Scorsese could do this justice.

Well what happened after the Western Roman Empire fell? You're a bright young scholar and you can lead the class to the lunchroom with a bonus gold star sticker if you get it right.

I think Ben Epps would be a better movie for a historical semi-fiction.
He's Georgia's version of the Wright Brothers.
He owned a bicycle shop in downtown Athens and decided to try his hand at making flying machines around 1905, eventually becoming successful and selling airplanes and running his own commercial flight operation the way Richard Branson was taking people into space.
More details from the Ben Epps Airport (Athens GA) website:
