AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) is ridiculous regarding COVID vaccines…

..for medical students doing any away (audition) rotations. My kid just had to get a booster of the “new and improved” 2024/2025 version of the “vaccine” to be eligible to do any away rotations. Shouldn’t medical associations and institutions be ahead of the curve on things like this, instead of behind by over a year?

If you want to get a residency in any of the competitive specialties, you most definitely want to do at least one away rotation.

I would have to imagine that if someone in this field didn't want to do this, they could find a doctor alighned with their opinion who would sign the damn glorified permission slip for them.

Are fake vaccine cards still a thing? I’d find one of those before getting a Covid clot shot.

Not that simple. All clot shots are now logged into a registry with the lot number of the injection given. My child did tell the person giving the shot to feel free to shoot it into the garbage can. Unfortunately, they did not.
