Guess am I just old, but I wish the tour would kick drunks out that scream “anything” after the shot. I totally get the “get in the hole” or saying their name, but to scream out “scrambled eggs” just so your buddy watching on tv can hear you

Rant over.

I’ll find out in a couple weeks, but does the Masters allow this shite?

Absolutely. Especially if you're recording it when you yell it.

Idk why, but a booming “Give Me Back My Son”, always makes me chuckle a bit.

I've never understood the "Get in the hole" shouting on anything but a par 3.

It is ridiculous to shout that on any length hole above a par 3 and totally ludicrous to do so on a par 5. On long par 4's and 5's the pros are doing great to reach the green in 2.

Well, at least it's not as bad as the Professional Darts Corporation events where the crowd in attendance will often whistle or shout at players just as they are trying to throw their darts in some pretty intense matches to try to throw them off their game.

This is one of the changes they are Making at this year’s Masters. They also are doing coolers with beer for patrons. They hope to generate more views on tic toc and X.

I was at the US open final round at Oakmont watching DJ. This was peak Game of Thrones time. A dude yelled “Hold the Door!” when DJ hit a drive. I admit I’d chucked heartily.

I thought the Masters had eliminated a lot of it… not sure of what their position is now.

I don't get it at all. Why scream for them to do the very object of the game?
That's like watching a baseball game and screaming hit the ball every time they swing the bat.

No. The Masters does not allow this.

- unsolicited or consistent calls from the gallery are prohibited at the Masters, and those who yell certain phrases, like "Dilly Dilly," risk removal

Not only that, but it’s extremely detrimental to get kicked out of the Masters, because they can choose to revoke your badge. It’s not a ticket that was good for one day. So you’re screwing over the owner of the badge.
