MANDEVILLE, La. — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office has issued an arrest warrant for a Mandeville man accused of attacking a woman in the Beau Chene neighborhood.

According to the sheriff's office, the woman reported that she was attacked while on the walking path in the neighborhood.

She told deputies a man on a black motorcycle wearing a helmet, brown trench coat, and joggers grabbed her from behind, according to a news release issued by the sheriff's office.

The woman told deputies the man lifted her off her feet, forced her to the ground, and began punching her.

The woman was able to escape and ran to her home to call police.

The man in the attack was identified as Sean Donovan, who is a resident of Beau Chene, according to the sheriff's office.

Yes, you have to check in with your ID and all, but...

I am waiting to hear if there are any unsolved attacks? It doesn't sound like this was his first rodeo.

Seems like crazy shite happens in that neighborhood more than it should considering how nice it is.

Didn't someone kill or harm their pond swans somehow a few years ago?

It's possible this was some kind of swingers quarrel, right?

I’ve already seen the Beau chene moms text thread

He is the son of someone in Beau Chene. He has mental problems.

Between 1987 and now is a reasonable time gap for a subdivision with 339 condominiums, 1,173 single-family homes for incidences like this.

Ah, makes sense.

So not like a hit on an assistant DA.

Margaret Coon was murdered in that area in 1987. Case never solved.

I bought all my drugs in CCC and RC and brought them to Beau Chene.

Seriously, I'm sure it's just like any middle America suburban subdivision in terms of drug use.

He has mental problems.

Standard excuse when a family member is caught red-handed committing a felony.

Judge Mike Erwin in Baton Rouge (RIP) famously quipped from the bench when a defendant's attorney claimed mental issues and a bad upbringing for his client: “I'm sure pretty much everybody on death row is retarded now,” He got in pretty big trouble for that one.

This guy was schizophrenic and bipolar

Well, according to the scuttlebutt

That doesn’t mean he won’t and shouldn’t be charged with a crime
