USA Today: Cannabis users under 50 are 6 times more likely to have a heart attack, new study shows
quote:

people under the age of 50 who consume marijuana are about 6.2 times more likely to experience a myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, than non-marijuana users. Young marijuana users are also 4.3 times more likely to experience an ischemic stroke and 2 times more likely to experience heart failure

quote:

Researchers surveyed over 4.6 million people under the age of 50, of which 4.5 million do not use marijuana and 93,000 do. All participants were free of health conditions commonly associated with cardiovascular risks, like hypertension, coronary artery disease, diabetes, and a history of myocardial infarctions. The study also excluded people who use tobacco to eliminate another potential risk factor.

Studies like this are so dumb.

Millions of healthy folks are California sober and use THC regularly along with keto, intense training, fasting and cold plunge / sauna

Pot negatively effects your brain. It literally dumbs you down.

Don't believe me?

Just keep on reading. The proof will appear.

This study has limitations due to lack of detailed cannabis consumption data and potential misclassification. The inherent limitations of real-world data often result from inconsistent patient reporting in electronic medical records.

I definitely believe this part of the study.

Friend,

Only foolhardy morons would have believed marijuana use was good for the general public. Smoking a toxic, mind altering substance has always been bad for people; it just took legalization of it to provide the data to show just how bad it is. This is likely the tip of the iceberg and I expect many forthcoming studies in the decades to come to show other negative outcomes, from psychiatric illnesses to cancers. Shame on those who used their power and money to trick the public into believing marijuana had an overall positive effect on health.

Yours,

Legalization was a terrible move to make and demonstrates the corrupt nature of our state political system once again. There are many who walk among us who just don't have the sense to recognize that daily use of anything mind altering will have negative long term consequences for themselves and the general population.
