Do you ever get to the point where you think you have enough guns?

You see what you have and then say to yourself, I'm good.

I’m to the point now that I don’t need anything. I’m more focused on buying cans at the moment. Only thing I don’t have is an over and under shotgun and I want another carry pistol eventually.

I am there with guns.

But for some reason, at the Houston Fishing Show, I apparently desperately needed a 9th custom baitcasting rod costing more than $300 and weighing less than 4 ounces

There’ll always be another gun I want. Last week I finally got a 45ACP like I’d been wanting (Glock41). Now I’m interested in a Chiappa Rhino bc they look neat. And I’d like a lever rifle. And eventually a big bore revolver. And then a larger caliber rifle…

I'm checking things off my long wanted gun list and then when I do that, I add another one. Do I think I have enough, yeah. Do I still want more, yup.

They'll be something new that I'll convince myself I need or have to have... And I'll get it

I honestly don't need anything but I feel like I need to buy two more.

Either a sxs 20 gauge or youth pump 20.

The other is a Bergara or Tikka 7mm08.

Hell, make it 3. I want a 6.5 grendel as well.

Unless there is some new innovation in guns, I have more than I need. There are still some I want though.

I am there and have been for several years. Not to say I might not buy a pile more but not planning to do so. Just the opposite in fact, thinking seriously about getting rid of some. I hunt with one shotgun exclusively and haven't used a rifle in years. Haven't had a pistol out of the safe in at least a year either. I don't even clean and oil them like I should...just not that interested in them any longer. I am the same way about fishing tackle. Still buy tools like they are going to quit making them though LOL. Interests change...I just ain't as mad at ducks and geese and various other winged creatures as I once was....

I inherited all of my father-in-law, fathers and older brothers' guns.
They were all avid outdoorsman.

I literally have guns in every room of my house. My wife probably thinks that I have enough, but I still like to pick up a new one every now and then.

Sometimes that thought crosses my mind. Then you talk to a friend, or read something here, or watch a YT video and there is “one more”.

Then other times I think yeah, I do have enough, I better have ammo for everything.

Full circle, next purchase has been decided. .22LR with a silencer and a day/nighttime scope. Not that I need it, but I think it would be cool.

I did. Then Saturday I saw Gunbuyer had a hell of a deal on S&W M&P15 and bought another. Didn't need it. Just felt the deal was too good to pass up. I 100% have enough.... but I"ll probably never really have enough.

The only guns I want are the ones I don't own.

Guns I have previously ruled out in preference for something else start looking appealing after a while. And there's always new things coming out.

This isn't just guns though...it's just part of any hobby I've ever had

Yes, when I find one in the back of the closet I had forgotten about and when I try to counter them in my head.

I have almost everything I want. I MIGHT would add a shotgun or two in a different gauge but I’ve got an 1187 and a X400 both in .12 that will do anything I want. O/U are too expensive to interest me although I do have a beautiful Citori in .20 my Dad left me. I buy any really nice A5 I see if it’s cheap enough but that’s only to flip. Got a Miroku produced O/U in .12 but it needs a new butt stock and they’re unobtainium.

I would definitely buy a Dan Wesson 1911 in 10mm. That’s the ONLY gun I’m actively searching for and don’t need it. I got two other 1911’s that are just as good.

Still go to every gun show I remember to. One day before I get too old I’ll go to the big one in Tulsa OK.

Anybody ever been to that?

I have too many already.
I only hunt with a couple of them.
I used to enjoy some informal plinking or maybe skeet shooting, but I never do any of that anymore. Honestly, if I only had 3 or 4, it would be ideal for me.
